Kaitlin Chichester is a facility design consultant who holds a BS in Interior Design from Kansas State University. In 2017, Kaitlin joined Medicine Man Technologies, a nationally recognized, turn-key cannabis consulting company in Denver, CO. As the first facility designer to join the company, Kaitlin developed its menu of facility design services and worked closely with several subject matter experts to create facility design standards based on best operational practices and procedures. During her time at MMT, she designed retail and cultivation facilities in 20 markets, with projects ranging from 1000 sq. ft. to 500,000 sq. ft. Prior to her career in cannabis, Kaitlin was an Interior Designer at ACI Boland Architects in Kansas City, Missouri, where a majority of her work was in healthcare and education. She approaches each project with a mind for continuous improvement and has a strong background in evidence-based design and human-centered sustainable design. Kaitlin is on the hunt for the best BBQ spot in Denver and enjoys glamping, ATV-ing and drawing cannabis-inspired cartoon characters. |
Amanda Ruge is a facility design consultant who holds a BA in Interior Design from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. In 2019, Amanda joined Medicine Man Technologies alongside Kaitlin. She worked diligently to foster continuous improvement of MMT’s facility design standards and collaborated heavily with retail, cultivation, and engineering experts to do so. Previously, she designed dental clinics and offices for Patterson Dental in Minneapolis, MN, where she gained deep insight into the importance of technical detail and precise building information modeling. Amanda was in charge of building and maintaining Patterson Dental’s library of 3D modeling components, and to this day loves nerding out on all things Revit. As a former Apple employee, Amanda also has a strong background in retail display assemblies, visual merchandising and product launches. She is always on the lookout for new ways to improve current design practices. Amanda is on a mission to visit every brewery in Colorado, and enjoys snowboarding, biking and baking. |
